Peter started USA Clinics in 1996 to help change the way hockey players learn and train and how coaches teach the game. Peter and USA Clinics have trained over 10,000 hockey players nationwide. Many have enjoyed success from select & travel teams, to High School, College, USA National teams and Professional Hockey.
USA Clinics is changing the way athletes approach sports by focusing on the complete player. USA Clinics lays out the foundation for learning skills faster, easier and at a higher level, by focusing on and developing: Physical talent, Mental talent, Emotional talent and Social Talent. The goal is to empower each player to begin to self-assess their own strengths and weaknesses, in sports and life.

3 Step Learning Process: It's like tying your shoes!
1) Form/Technique - understanding & mastering the skills & mechanics of the game (Learning the proper way to do something, mental/physical programming)
2) Intensive Drilling - developing & mastering skills through practice & repetition (Turning skills into habit through action)
3) Games/Fun - a teaching strategy that makes learning hockey fun (Emotional programming, motivates and provides fuel to continue learning & growing)
Think about it like this. A long long time ago your Mom or Dad taught you how to tie your shoe. They SHOWED you how. You watched them, saw how they did it and PRACTICED, PRACTICED, PRACTICED until you could do it. Now whenever your shoe is untied, you DO NOT THINK ABOUT IT, you just reach down and tie your shoe. It has become a habit.
